Automobile Manufacturers Agreements

GRUPO PSA

Given the launch of the entire electrified range of vehicles of the PSA Group in early 2020, it has selected GIC as the official installation company for its end customers in Spain and Portugal.

FORD

Ford has selected GiC as the Preferred Installer in Spain and Portugal.

AUDI

GIC and AUDI signed a collaboration agreement in which GIC was recognized as the official installation company of AUDI in Spain for the launch of the entire eTron range of AUDI vehicles in mid-2019.

With this agreement, GIC becomes the recommended charging point installation company for all AUDI end customers, in which during the second half of 2019 more than 50 installations have been carried out for said customers, in turn and in that same period, GIC has carried out the adaptation of more than 60 AUDI dealers in Spain to adapt to the new standards of the brand.

NISSAN

Given the launch of the Nissan Leaf in Spain, NISSAN signed an agreement among three collaborator that recognized GIC as a recommended installation company for its final customers and CIRCUTOR as a supplier of recharging equipment.

In 2018, 500 such installations were carried out for NISSAN end customers.

Industry Leading Companies Agreements

EDP

GIC and Energías de Portugal (EDP) have signed a contract in 2019 in which GIC will provide services for both electric vehicle charging points and self-consumption (Photovoltaic Installations) in the private sector (B2C) and companies (B2B).

Management and Maintenance for the Public Charging Network Agreements

CITY COUNCIL OF MADRID

The City Council of Madrid has signed an agreement with charging managers IBIL and GIC to upgrade and operate the charging network on public roads of the capital. The network has been completely renovated to adapt to the needs of electric vehicle users.

It has implemented a system of interoperability that allows the use of 24 charging points the Town hall of Madrid users of both charge managers.

The new legislation in the electricity sector requires that the electric vehicle recharging service will be carried out through authorized charging managers as regulated by RD647 / 2011. The energy recharging service is subject to billing by the companies that provide this service.

For recharging operations, it will be necessary to obtain the corresponding GIC virtual card easy to get at the time the user registers in the GIC App.

EMPRESA MUNICIPAL DE TRANSPORTES (EMT)

GIC and the Municipal Transport Company of Madrid have signed a collaboration agreement in which GIC will be the manager of its network of electric vehicle charging points, which today has 91 points.

In 2019 there were 1.500 registered users and more than 4.800 loading sessions were carried out.

ÁREA METROPOLITANA DE BARCELONA (AMB)

GIC and the Barcelona Metropolitan Area have signed a collaboration agreement in which GIC will be the manager of its network of electric vehicle charging points, which currently has 24 points.

In 2019 there were 4.000 registered users and 50.000 loading sessions were carried out.

CITY COUNCIL OF CARTAGENA

GIC and the City Council of Cartagena have signed a collaboration agreement in 2018 in which GIC will be the manager of its network of electric vehicle charging points, which today has 4 points.

In 2019 there were 70 recurring users and 650 loading sessions were carried out.

CITY COUNCIL OF RIBARROJA DE TURIA

Installation, maintenance, and management of a fast charging station that combines the simultaneous charging of 50 kW in direct current and 22 kW in alternating current.

The charging station is owned by the Ribarroja del Turia City Council and offers free recharging to all GIC users.

CIRVE PROJECT

The CIRVE project is a European project for charging corridors on the main routes.

GIC has been selected as one of the installers and managers of the network of fast charging stations.

The points managed by GIC have the advantage that they are found on various management platforms thanks to the interoperability protocol between platforms.

HIGH-POWER CHARGING IONITY STATION NETWORK

The IONITY Project was born as an alliance between the main German vehicle manufacturers to create a network of service stations that have ultra-fast charging stations between 150 – 350 kW throughout Europe.

GIC and ETRA Group have been selected by IONITY as official installers in this project to carry out the installations in Spain and Portugal.
